The impulsiveness of the top 8 percentage continues, with GWS gaining 23% after returning to form in recent weeks. Collingwood also rose 14% after winning a 50/50 game against Melbourne. The Demons lost a little bit of ground, but not nearly as much as Adelaide or North Melbourne. Adelaide lost a 50/50 game and then lost 18%, while North lost by a lot more than they were expected to and lost 15% to fall back into the uncertainty area of 40-60%.
Richmond aren’t getting any closer to coming back to earth either, which I believe may be partly due to their record at the MCG. They are winning 80% of the grand finals they reach, compared to West Coast or Sydney who are winning just 33% (given, most of the grand finals they are reaching, they’re playing against Richmond).
