Considering Hawthorn won and Sydney lost, it seems weird that Hawthorn had a much bigger drop-off than Sydney. However, most of Hawthorn’s rating is their attack and Sydney’s rating is defence, so because both teams scored under the average points, Hawthorn lost more points. Brisbane keep hitting new lows, GWS are hitting new highs. The new short-form leader is GWS.
